Going to horse race track. I want a classical kind of look and I want it to be simple. I think it'd be nice to hear what you usually wear to such an event.

Judging by my experiences of racetracks here in Ontario, Canada, you'll be trying too hard if you shave.....

If you're in polite company and have box/stand seating, I would suggest a lightweight (linen?) navy or seersucker blazer, with chinos. And for god's sake polish your shoes.

It all depends on where you are, and where you'll be sitting. Also, is it a grand prix or a more ordinary day of races?

Yeah, unless it's Derby Day and you're in the expensive seats, most of the other people there will probably be somewhere around the level of oversized Nascar t-shirts, wife beaters, and trucker hats
