Help with hangers to use for Jackets and Shirts?

Hi,
I was just curious what kind of hangers I should be using for my jackets and my shirts.
Right now I use plain pine wood suit hangers for everything.
I haven't particularly noticed any problems, but I'm just paranoid. Haha.
I don't want to damage my clothes or have them warp.

Is a coat rack safe (hanger from hang loop inside a jacket) or would that damage the jacket?
