Help with Barbara Bui Belt size

Hello!

I want to purchase a Barbara Bui belt that I have only found online and it comes only in a size (85). Unfortunately, it is on sale so no returns. I wear a size 27/28 in jeans and usually around a 4/6 in everything else. Do you think an 85 is the right size belt? I am looking to wear it over some plaid tights. The size chart online shows below but I don't always believe those. I ordered a size 6 dress the other day based on a size chart and I was swimming in it. Any help is much appreciated!

And 85 corresponds to a 34" measurement. Measure your hips where you want to wear the belt. If your hips are between 33 and 35 inches, the belt would fit your perfectly. If you are either 32 or 36 at the hips, you are at the last or first hole, assuming that this is a typical 5 hole belt.

btw, this is mostly a men's forum, but belt sizing is the same between sexes.
