help me clean up the streets on halloween

After much debate on what I will be for halloween (Robert duvall in apocalypse now or one of the baseball furies from The warriors were my runner ups) I have decided to be Serpico. I figure I can buy a jesus beard and wig , but im stuck on where to get the rest of my costume.
Im not sure what type of hat or what type of vest he's wearing (just those two things I'm unsure of)

I didn't read your post, but OT, I think it would be fun to paintball little kids as they're coming up the driveway. People need to be taught not to expect handouts at an early age.
