+1 on the demand for an apology. Your brother's behavior was appalling but not worth a fist fight.

i can relate, my brothers getting married to this woman i cant stand. She seems to go out of her way to make awkward comments or to just simply ruin a good dinner with her mood. I put up with her pretty well until she barked at my grandmother during a dinner my grandparents cooked for everyone, and then left without saying thanks.

She's extremely arrogant and thinks that she's witty by stating the unspoken obvious. But she fits my brother to a T, because he's a pushover, and she likes to be the one to push someone over. She can be pleasant some days, then completely ruin it by going off on a tangent about how the house she's in (as a guest) doesnt have something she wants (cheese, coke, alcohol, or some other random item).

He doesnt want to hear my opinion about it, and I dont care to be the bad guy. I declined an invitation to the wedding, but i'm sure they'll request that i go.

Its annoying sometimes, like family gatherings i used to really enjoy, now i have to endure stupid comments about the clothes i'm wearing, or hear about how expensive her jeans are, or hear about some stupid **** they're planning, or be asked numerous times to try the food they're lousy at cooking.

But in the end, i know that my family see's it for what it is, and she's the one making a fool out of herself.
