I had to post this becuase my present for my B-Day is somewhat style related. SO I have been searching and searching for some black boots everywhere for a long time. My wife would make fun of me and and call me a freak. I really spent a long time looking for the right pair. that brings me to this Sat feb 6 was my birthday. My wife says go get us a coffee and I get you B-Day gift out. I get back and open my gifts, two retro old navy t-shirts, one dayton flyers and one Notre Dame. My two favorite teams so cool. The day goes by and I think nothing about the boots. we are getting ready for dinner. I get out of the shower and BAM!!!! a new pair of Florentini + Bakers the boots I really wanted,but didnt want to spend the money. anyways I was shocked one of the best surprises i've had in a while. PEACE

Doesn't sound like a very healthy relationship. Perhaps you should consider leaving her for someone who would be willing to support you more and insult you less. You guys are asshats. The guy's wife gets him a thoughtful gift, something she knew he really wanted but wouldn't buy for himself, and you dog him for it. Very, very classy.

WOW I get a pass. Oh and by the way all the incorrect spellings. I was on my phone typing. I don't know if they have a name but on the Barney's website they say eternity-black. The only reason I posted the story was I have really been looking for some black lace up boots for a LONG time. I really am sorry if I broke some board rule writen or unwriten. I don't want to get in a pissing contest with anyone I was just really happy she pulled this off. Now I just have to start working on my denim and I'm on my way.

Relax man, it's all good. I have the same boots in brown. Might get them in black too, or maybe go with the 709 zip; they're made on the same last.
