I just noticed today that my recent brown herringbone sportcoat has no lapel buttonhole. Clearly an oversight, but I actually kind of like the way it turned out. Obviously makes it different from my other sportcoats and it seems to work well with the sporty vibe of the coat paired with the matching vest.

Curious what other types of happy accidents you all have had when commissioning clothes.
