Handmade dress shoes for $250, too good to be true?

Definitely too good to be true. I was disappointed. I expected to see some decent dresses for sale when I clicked on the title but saw only shoes.

I can't say about these for certain, but I fell for a similar trick several years ago on a website I cannot remember. They showed some really cool pictures, mentioned that they make you a last and can customize the fit and design to your exact specifications.

When the shoes came, I'm sure it looks like it came from Thailand or Vietnam, maybe some remote village in India. The leather looked and feels like it came from a very old cow whose purpose in life, before it died, was as a whipping boy for some sadist farmer whose wife left him because she could not tolerate his obsseion with bondage.
