Oh I am weak. These are coming my way. Nearly bought the pebbled cap toe bals with rubber soles, but figure these will be more useful. Now I hope they fit. I have dirty bucks in what I think is the same last, and they are surprisingly slim.

Sorry, Chris. Didn't mean to disparage your pics. They're much, much better than what I've managed when I sell on eBay. I just don't think pictures can really do these shoes justice. I hadn't expected such beautiful antiquing. I thought I was getting a much flatter finish.

Great looking shoes, chorse123! They look like Grenson's Stainmore, on the 85 last from their "Country" line. I was hoping to find a pair in my size, for foul weather wear. Enjoy!

I have what seem to me like the exact same shoes to me in the Stuart's Choice/Masterpiece line with leather soles and maybe a tad lighter.

A pair of those pebble grain bluchers from the Paul Stuart sale were my first "real" shoes. I've worn them a lot.

I thought they were the Grenson Stainmore as well when I researched them last year.

My shoes just arrived. They are beautiful and well-crafted in remarkably sturdy leather. A great color, nice durable sole. Just fantastic. So of course they don't fit. Oddly different than my other pair of PS non-masterpiece Grensons, even though the last looks the same. Back they go.

Chorse, don't we wear the same size--9.5? (Or are you a 9, can't remember.) What model are your Grensons?

Edit: BTW, I'm still looking for a pair of rubber-soled Grensons in 9.5. The ones Chris has posted don't do it for me, unfortunately.

I'm typically a 9D to 9.5D. During the last go-round, in the waning days, I bought a pair of dirty buck plain toe bals in 10D that fit pretty damn well. These were tighter across the top of my foot, and looser in the heel. The top might loosen, but the heel would be a problem.
