Spot reduction is a myth - you cant selectively reduce fat from one area of your body by doing certain exercises (ConcernedParent is onto it). Running is probably the easiest one to get into, but if you're really motivated you should also include weight lifting in your regime (muscles require more energy to keep so they burn more, even when resting).
