Good news! Thanks for the link. Congrats to Gerald, Mark, and the others! I hope their enthusiasm for traditional craftsmanship and dress spreads. And if it does, I believe this will be in no small part thanks to them.

I hadn't heard of Edify and Colonial. Interesting to read on their blog that Ascot Chang was originally from Shanghai. It would have been neat if the author had mentioned what's going on there too, w/ W Sanford (opened by the brother of a friend) and others doing some interesting things in mainland China.
