Plaza last - which I really like. It's a pleasantly soft square last which IMO makes it perfect for something like this.

Very nice Cantabrigian. Alden shell is really beautiful.

And where I come from, a one Pidal shoe is equal to a NWOT

These are half a size larger than what I wear - selling them for a relative - and I found that the Plaza last runs true to size or ever so slightly large at least in smaller sizes.

I'll throw in those AE shoe trees as well.

Way off topic, Cantabrigian, but I like your avatar. If I'm not mistaken, it's the Scottish lad who ran for the UK in the 1924 Olympics and was portrayed in Chariots of Fire. (Or am I completely out to lunch on that?) Was he too a Cantabrigian? Or an Oxonian? Or neither?

Eric Liddel was his name, I think. And definitely a Caius College man.

Eric Liddel was his name and he definitely was not a Caius College man. You're thinking of Harold Abrahams. Liddel attended University of Edinburgh. Apologies to Cantabrigian for the interruption of this great, great deal. Wish they were size 11...

Price reduced.

Any lower and I'll probably just stuff newspaper in the toes and wear them myself.

I don't believe that either of us went to Cambridge - IIRC he went to Univ. of Edinburgh.

Doh. Abraham was a Caius College man.
