Both belts are SOLD. I have two shell cordovan dress belts from Brooks Brothers that I’m making available to forum members before listing them on ebay. Here are the specs: * size 42, but a good cobbler can modify them to work for size 36 and smaller. * 3 cm wide (approximately 1 ¼”). * deep burgundy (Horween color 8). * 3 pieces of shell cordovan sewn onto a leather backing (I assume calfskin). * removable brass buckle. * a single shell cordovan keeper. * the belts are identical and both are stamped “shell cordovan” and “horsehide”. One belt has a tag stating “genuine shell cordovan” and “HORWEEN”. * made in Canada for Brooks Brothers. * retail price is $148. * price to forum members: $65 each, shipped anywhere in the CONUS. I can provide pictures tomorrow if anyone wishes, but they are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone interested should send a PM, but of course I'll answer questions here.

PM sent.

Kolecho, it's dead simple. Any decent cobbler can just cut the strap down a little and re-install the snaps. I've had this done many times. The removable buckle feature is just great, because it allows you to wear the belt with both silver and gold buckles to match your other accessories.

My understanding is that a cobbler needs about 6" extra to cut down a belt, while including the snap for a removable buckle. With these belts, afficiandos may care about where the seam between pieces of shell cordovan fall. I don't have the belts with me, but I can post pics tomorrow, if they don't sell today. One belt is sold already, pending payment (thanks Roger). I have one left.
