I just can't keep shortening sleeves of dress shirts! Decided to part with this one, brand new, still on the cardboard. Size 16/41

Why not? ~$15 I do it all the time. Unless you do MTM or bespoke, you don't really have a choice.

most shirts didn't turn out "perfectly" for me when the sleeves were shortened. quality of the tailor, maybe?

The sleeve length is normal for 16/41 Finamore, so about 36"

The shirt IS really nice, of course it has side gussets and the collar is fantastic-- no tie space at the top when worn with a tie, very sharp.

Actually, I just measured the sleeve length-- it is just under 35 inches.
