For sale I have a Hickey Freeman Collection suit, tagged a size 43R but may also work for a 44R (maybe even a 42 - check the measurements). This suit is fairly recent, and is a 2-button model with a button stance and lapel gorge that are not at all dated (the gorge appears to be a bit lower in the photos because the jacket was not sitting squarely on the hanger). The fabric is a very dark charcoal gray with a gray stripe pattern. The fabric is made of wool but feels like a 50/50 wool and cashmere blend. It has an excellent flannel-like brushed texture - very soft and rich. The suit has two flap pockets, and the pants have two jetted front pockets and two buttoning rear pockets. The pants are double pleated and cuffed, and lined past the knee. They also feature interior buttons for braces. The condition is impeccable. The fabric feels as if it is new, and there are no flaws or damage to the suit. Measures 23" from underarm to underarm, 20" across the shoulders, 24.5" from shoulder to end of sleeve cuff, 31" from under collar to bottom of jacket. Pants measure 40" waist with maybe an inch to let out, 31" inseam with maybe 2/3" an inch to let out, and 43" at the outseam. I am asking $100 shipped within the US. These retail for about $1500 IIRC.

Nice suit. I think H-F is a relatively under-rated suit on the forum. I would pounce but for the waist size.

Sold, pending payment.

Marc - yes, the quality of this suit is really nice. I have never seen a fabric this nice on a HF suit - it is really soft, and hard to believe that it is not some sort of cashmere blend.
