Here are a few pics from my last fitting. The donegal is almost done and the chalkstripe will have one more fitting.

The two large pics are more representative of the colour/contrast of the reverse chalkstripe fabric:

Hi T4

Who is the tailor? The open quarters on the donegal suggest someone from Naples. Jacket seems to have a very clean chest, shoulder, and sleeve so I'm wondering....

Looks good, enjoy

I really like the look of the reverse chalkstripe...
A shame that I do not have more space for storing suits (and more money to have them made)... There are so many interesting patterns out there!

Tailor is from the north but trained in Napoli.

The donegal looks a bit deceptive since the pics lack contrast.. but there is drape there and the shoulders are a bit extended:

From the back, the drape is masked a bit (btw, the sleeves are still just basted on):

looks great! thanks for posting the photos. the SB jacket is to be 3 button, correct? Is there a way to go narrower on the lapels? they look a bit wide to me for a 3 button.

Are you going to request a 1" lapel buttonhole, with a flower loop behind? i know I would!

The donegal is lovely!

I'm not quite sure what to make of the reverse chalkstripe. It has a slightly prisony feel to it, but a very classy prison. I think I like it. Certainly pretty unique, not sure I've come across a fabric like that before in any book - source?

It looks like a 3 roll 2. If it is, then it is spot on.

Those are some killer lapels on that reverse chalkstripe.

As Dopey said, it is a 3 roll 2.5, and the lapel width is my choice. As it is bespoke, you can have all the details you want. The lapel hole is not yet finished.

You should have seen the first prototype, when the chalkstripe was a bit wider, then it really looked 'prisony'. The fabric was custom ordered from Fox based on a drawing.

I love the reverse chalkstripe! What book is it from? I've been searching for a reverse chalkstripe suiting but haven't been able to find one yet.

Thanks for sharing .

Nice drape and waist suppression on both; nice open quarters on the SB. Did you request the shape of the lapels on the DB? Sleeve head treatments are first rate, right amount of shirt cuff exposure, though on the DB your left is less than your right. I like the subtle shape of the skirts of each.
