Fit of sleeves

Dear All,

I am curious whether someone could enlighten me about the fit of the sleeves. I have done some research into forum and noted discussions about the lengths and small arm holes but failed to discover the discussion on fit. I understand that it is desirable to have very high armholes and show some cuffs. However, I am curious to learn how to address slight billows near the armpits and the elbows on the sleeves. Is this an indication of sleeves that are too full?

Would someone provide pictures of the perfect sleeves?

What would be the best methods to evaluate the fit of sleeves?

Thank you very much.

It's subjective. You want a high armhole, but fuller sleeves have benefits to mobility and comfort. I prefer mine tapered below the elbow, though.

I think resident tailor jefferyd has posted about this on his blog, you might want to look for it. I don't have a cite handy.
