Hi,
I went to a local JAB to check out their Traveler slim shirts. I am 5'7", 135 lbs, 35" chest, 32" actual waist, and wear 14 1/2 32 dress shirts.
I tried their 14 1/2 32 slim shirt and it was big all around. The shoulders were big, excess fabric in the waist, arms were big and long, etc. Definitely a no-go and not worth tailoring.
I am checking out CT's extra slim non-iron twills as i think they may do the trick based on the reviews and the measurements posted on the company website.
I do have several questions for those of you who have had the JAB's Traveler slims and CT's extra slims:
1) How does the fit compare (i.e. shoulders, waist, chest, arms, neck, etc.)?
2) I wasn't very impressed with Travelers material. How would you compare the two?
3) Travelers had this really horrendous (at least to me) pinpoint collars (the spreads were ok). How are CT's spread and pinpoint collars in relation to JAB?
FYI, I am going to order a Lands' End slim to check that one out as well.
Thank you. Any information is very appreciated.
