CROCKETT.

Possibly a shot in the dark but I'm wondering if anyone can offer advice on the sizes between these two fine boots. Leydon seems to be TTS, but I've never owned a C&J, who also says this last is TTS.
But, the last time I ordered an English boot it was about 2 sizes too big, so I am trying to get as much info as possible. Thank you.

I don't have the exact C&J boot but have shoes on the 335 last and do have the suede Alden on the leydon. I am a UK 10 on the 335 and a US 11E on the leydon (which is a little snug width wise). Hope that helps. There is much more width for the toes in the 335.

I have both of those two boots in suede. What are you asking?
Just translate US to UK as a full size delta, not the 1/2 delta that the manufacturers often suggest.

BTW, have you seen the C&J green roughout suede? It's pretty green.

I wear a 10.5 B/D in the Alden which I am assuming is US sizing. So I wonder what size this would translate to in the C&J. Green one looks nice, big fan of the boots though I haven't owned any just yet. Thank you.

Probably you’d want a 9.5uk.
Chelsea boots can be kind of a pain to size.
