I've been recently wondering what various medium tall garments measure at Lands End and Jcrew, so I gave them both a call to get some. Below are measurements in case anyone is curious and too lazy to give them a ring:

sh 18 3/4
ch 45
waist 42.5
length 32.25

84260 ------ polo MT
sh 18
ch 42
waist 41
length 30.75 29.75 front

28125 --------- peacoat
18 3/4
ch 46
waist 42.5
32 3/4 back
sl length 27.5

46711 ------------sweater
17 shoulder
ch 42
waist 34
length 28.5
sl 35.5

LANDS END-----------

Item # 41615-7AG3 Medium Tall button down shirt

ch 48 1/4
length 33
waist 46.25

Item # 40162-7WA0 MEDIUM TALL polo
ch 44
30 inch long
41 waist

tem # 39376-0AG4 cotton sweater MT
ch 43
28 in long
27 sleeve

Kinda stinks how the casual shirts are so roomy in the chest. If anyone knows some that are a bit better fitted I'm all ears...and preferably not a fortune. (I wear shirts casually untucked---don't flame me to death; not many people my age wear shirts tucked in regularly and would look silly doing so.)
