I was recently selected as a finalist in a business plan competition. I need to give a presentation and also attend an awards dinner. Im currently in college so I don't own a suit that I feel is good enough. Can anyone help me decide where to get a suit and also a good color combination for a tie and shirt.

thank you for any help

I'm assuming this is a genuine question, so I will give you 2 quick suggestions.

1) Use the search function on this site - search terms like "affordable suits", look up what people are saying about Brooks Brothers, SuitSupply, and other retailers (I'm assuming that's your price range?) Also look for body type specific threads, which might give you better suggestions.

2) Give people a bit more info. It's hard to tell you what to do, if you can't tell people- price range, what style you are looking for, or body type. Or just why you aren't happy with your existing suits.

When is the event again? If you're pressed for time just go for off the rack - but as yfivan said, give more infos.
