I ordered a navy grenadine tie (standard length) on March 21st. I was asked to allow six weeks for production and delivery, which I was fine with.

So far the tie hasn't been made so it will definitely be at least 10 weeks before I receive it. Now I'm fine with things taking long granted that I'm aware of when it will arrive.

I guess my question to you all is: Is it common for MTM merchandise to take longer than first estimated? I would imagine they would know how long it will take and be able to give better estimates.

From my experience, MTM clothing takes extra long during this time of year. It seems to be more of a busy season.

Yes, in my experience, MTM has taken longer than estimated. I've experienced this with both suits and shirts. I'm waiting now on shirts that should have arrived about three weeks ago. Frustrating, but I'm now used to it.

If you are waiting for the same kind of MTM grenadine as I recently received, it's worth waiting for.
