I own about 33 Lacoste polos............I have studied and followed all the trends in identifying counterfeit shirts over the years.

OP, the shirts you posted are real. In many countries, Lacoste (like other brands) give the exclusive right to carry/sell their products to certain retailers and/or corporations. Lacoste doesn't necessarily operate their own B&M stores.

Enjoy the shirts and stop worrying.

Am I the only one wondering why he has posted pics of three (four?) different sizes so far?

I was just thinking the same thing. The other thing is, who in their right mind spends $900 on six lacoste polo shirts? They can't cost more $100 a shirt.

Lacoste can be quite expensive in certain countries or markets. Just think, the US price is $79 - $88 each, so why wouldn't the price be $100+ in another country?

In two B&M shops ive been to in the UK they are about £100 which is even more expensive and to be honest not worth that. There is better quality at the same price point or even cheaper.

Answer to the OP is really quite simple "if you are in any amount of doubt that its a fake, even the smallest amount, just bloody stay clear!" Christ its not rocket science is it ?

As far as logos go, the alligator is pretty darn cool. Other than that, I've never found anything else particularly outstanding about Lacoste fabrics or cuts. Pretty average polo shirts at massively inflated prices? Blah.

I think i've seen this style tags on a Polo at a Lacoste Outlet here in Texas. It was a different line of Lacoste than the normal every days ones you see on the regular polos.

Why does one content tag say 100% cotton while the other one right next to it says 96% cotton?

That is highly suspicious in itself.

Do you know what the other 4% is? Is it elastane, rayon or plutonium?
