Interesting race. I finally caught the rerun yesterday afternoon, thankfully.

Any idea what happened to HK near the end when he passes Alonso and then seemed to just give up and let him pass right back? Weird.

And did Barichello finally get the DQ for exiting the pits under the red light?

"I managed to get past Fernando but then as I tore off a visor strip on the main straight I accidentally hit the pit lane speed limiter button and Fernando managed to get past me again."

Oh, and yes, Barrichello was DQed.

My lord, talk about human error. Uff. I hope he said that with a sufficient degree of shame in his voice.

Gotta quote myself here, Massa never fails to deliver.

there's an onboard replay of Massa about 3.30 in.

That was definitely an eventful race, but other than the fact that McLaren will be very fast this year, the other teams' performance wasn't very clear due to the usual Melbourne issues.

It was a good weekend for racing, too. Anyone see the 12 Hours of Sebring? That was a good race.

I'm considering checking it out. But if I have to start planning in June a lot will be contingent on how my move this spring goes.
