It was an all around boring sunday early in the day as I was just at home watching football. Then my friend and I decided to go eat and watch the Jets game and after that go to a local car dealer to check out an A8 Audi he wants to pick up. Well we park up in the front of the dealer around 5:30 or so and we go to the back where the cars are at. Exclusively Audi and BMW ( and some porsche). Well were there checking out the cars and like 45 minutes later when were about to take off the lot is locked and there's no way for us to get out. There's one guy left that worked there, who rides his bike home BTW and he told us it was his third day on the job and there was nobody else to open the lot for us to take off. And we're tripping out that its 6 PM and everything is already closed and there's no one left but us. Even security. So we end up calling a friend of ours for a ride, he says that he can't go right away but would be there in like an hour. So my friend has the super genius idea to test drive some of the cars while we wait. I mean we're talking every single car back there had keys inside the car and no one was around. We saw the M6 and decided to take it for a stroll. Remember, the lot itself was locked, so we were taking it just for a few spins around the lot. Punched it a few times and I mean, if you've ever been inside one you know, its a beautiful experience. Then we took the A8 for a stroll too which is super smooth, great sound, interior, etc. A little after that my friend showed up. It was a fun experience. No one was around to say anything to us and just all around fun.
Has anyone ever been joyriding here? If by any chance they would come to find out, would they press charges? How bad is it to do that here in California, does anyone know?
