Metropolis is a good English Japan net magazine. Its a bit on the bitter side sometimes, but its good to see a "Everything is not Rainbows and Farts" view of Japan. Tokyo Damage Report is another classic. Its a Gaijin's view of seedy Tokyo. Plus a lot of bizare reviews of punk shows and oddball tradeshows Metropolis
