I stopped in at Sky Valet over the weekend to inquire about their new line, Edward Green. They're going to start carrying the shoes in mid to late March. Of the 5 or so shoes they'll be carrying, one is the Chelsea, one is a 2 eyelet shoe called the Kingsley -- basically, it's the Holborn but with a captoe. Very nice looking and unique. Very English-looking. Another is a wholecut loafer with toe punching. Unfortunately, one of their "regular" stock shoes is not expected to be the Dover. However, the store will be able to order the entire EG line on any of the standard lasts. A late summer trunk shoes with EG reps is planned. I was told that for the shoe they will be removing all non-EG shoes from the back of the store in order to devote substantially the entire store for the day to EG.

$850 was what I was told for Chelsea model; I'm not sure if that's for all models but I suspect so. I understand $850 is the going rate for EGs -- that $850 is retail for EGs at Saks in NYC and at Richard's in Greenwich, CT. Actually, I think Flusser and Jay Kos in NYC charge even more....

Yes, I was recently at Saks too and noticed the increase in price. I guess that's the MSRP now.
