EG Ectons on the 888 last in medium width E, size UK9.
The colour is burnt pine which is a great alternative to dark oak and ages beautifully. The soles are single rubber. (Fitted at EG before they switched to the current R1 rubber sole).
This pair is made on the wooden production lasts and has the classic 888 fit.
About a 1-1/2 years ago EG replaced their wooden production lasts with new ones made from resin.
The new resin lasts are slightly larger/wider. This was done to give a wider audience a god fit according to managing director of EG Hillary Freeman.
The shoes have been used 3 times indoors for a total wear time of max 1-1/2 hours. The shoes has been in storage for 18 months because I have problems with a worsened bunion (hallux valgus) on one foot. As my condition doesn't seem to improve I'm now selling them.
