Yessir. A D width in UK sizing is a US B or C. My Chelsea which is a US 9D is marked 8.5/9 E 606.
My EGs sourced from the US retailers say 8.5/9 D 888 (RLPLs)
The D is a different size depending on the retail source of the shoe. US provenance it is indeed a medium width. UK provenance it is a narrow width.
Confusing, Hell yes.
Still an absolutely beautiful shoe. I am wearing mine (from the summer sale) today.
