I wonder how many people match the metal of their wedding bands with the metal of their watches.

The answer to that question lies in resolving whether your wedding band has some meaning to you beyond that of a fashion accessory.

Absolutely some guys have two or three bands and swap them out to match their watch of the day. Combine a watch geek an a style geek and all manner of absurdity may follow.

Alternatively, invest in a 'Russian Wedding Ring', three intertwined bands in yellow-, white- and pink gold.

The ring I'm going to buy for my wedding has to be only one color. It can be of two or three colors in no way. I find combination of white and yellow metals looking bad.

So, should I buy a yellow or white ring? My watches are yellow. The bride's ring is white.

I don't think its necessary that your wedding band should match with your watch as most of the times it is covered by the sleeve of the shirt. Even my husband didn't have matching wear a matching watch when we got married over here last month and hardly anyone noticed!
