I don't mean this in a dating way or anything, I just mean this in a general way.

I recently got hired at a new job and as I was walking around the work place I saw one person from human resources walking by with her purse slung over her shoulder. It was a coach purse and when I walked by, I said, "Oh Coach, I love it." She looks surprised but seemed to enjoy it.

Now my question is, I am new at my work, I don't want to come off as gay, but what do you guys think? I love to receive comments from girls about my fashion, I don't see why it can't be the other way around.

I always do it. Especially when I think that I'll get some action for it. It's the best way to say, "wow your breasts look huge", or, "your ass is amazing", without actually saying, "wow your breasts look huge", or, "your ass is amazing."

A friend of mine had his birthday dinner two nights ago and one of the woman in attendance looked unbelievable. The whole night she was flitting around chatting with the other guests until I mentioned how great her top looked. For the rest of the night she was by my side.

Just goes to show that it doesn't take that much to please a lady.

+1

Seriously, you could have expressed your appreciation of Coach in a much less gay way.

Having said that, yes, I do compliment women I know on their clothing/style. Never did it with a stranger though.

+1. Most women just carry a designer bag, which they think makes up for the fact that they are dressed like shite. Although, If I see a well dressed woman somewhere, and we're in close proximity to one another, I'll usually toss her a compliment.

I like to give a compliment on occasion. Usually I get a bright and lovely smile and a thank you. It makes the day warm and bright for both of us.
