I live in NZ. South island though and don't know Auckland at all. I had a good look round Wellington for shops, hoping there would be somewhere with a good selection of denim but most places which I hoped would have had a nice selection only had the 'big' brands and cheap monday. I order mine online, it works out cheaper for better quality denim too...

im in Auckland and don't know any store that stocks any decent raw denim, but recently bought a pair online (denimbar), heaps cheaper buying overseas than trying to buy anything similar in NZ even taking into account our weakening $$
