Man, I've had lots of boots with the full 430 sole and heel. They wear like iron and offer great traction as well. In fact, I've worn out some of the boots, but not the soles.

you can also get some brown leather dye that is made for midsoles at a leather shop. I did and redid the sides to my classic service boots, came out nicely.

not interested in that stuff. i got the natural midsole so that it would age and change over time.

Keep an eye on ebay. Building a lot of boots with sample leather inventory. Most of this leather is stuff we will never stock. Maybe 5 pair of each different color. Cool stuff. Mostly sd's.

I am beginning to see what you mean... That Capote bullhide is hot :D

Haven't seen that before, and neither the Buffed Tan. Maybe sambam can say something about these leathers as the ebay pictures don't reveal very much...

The waxed is like a darker distress. Darker quarter and a little lighter vamp. I am looking in to carrying this leather. The buffed is almost like velvet. Cool stuff. I will make a change next week on the ebay pics. I can hardly tell what they are.
