Custom made (Julian) boots

Hello everybody,

Wanted to share my experience of ordering 4 pair of new boots from master shoemaker Julian Imrie. About 10 years ago I bought my first pair of Julian boots at Barneys in New York and after a decade of getting compliments on the street I ordered 4 new pair in 4 different color settings. It takes time to go through all the leather and sole options, and yes you have to wait a couple of months to get them, but result is there and you will have something unique.

Of course. The custom made boots start at around $1250,- per pair. Dependent on the leather and complexity of course. Because I ordered 4 pair at ones I netted out at $4K. I thought it was a good deal. They will last a long time.

Beautiful boots. I especially love the first and second pair. Those will last a lifetime I'm sure.

Those are a bit "blobby" for my taste.
I prefer this type in boots
