... the long awaited C&J Lindrick in dark brown shell cordovan on Dainite!

At a quick glance, I can only show indoor photos with flash. The following two well represent the colour that will be visible outdoors in sunny weather. Indoors, they are darker.

I am, again, very satisfied by the craftmanship. Fit is perfect and the shell leather is really soft (for shell at least).

In order to have a "deeper look" into the shell structure, I well over-exposed the following two shots:

Here are a couple of initial pics of mine. The shell appears (at first) as very dark and even, more so than my Harlech’s I purchased at the start of the year. I think I’m going to like these!

Fit feels good, I opted for a 9E, I’ve been a bit in-between an 8.5 to a 9 with recent purchases but these feel spot on.

Appreciate the over exposed look! What a cracking pair of boots. I’m new (long time lurker) but if people wanted to do another run of these, I’d certainly put my name down.

I have heard back from CJ on the pricing for the rough out Islay. It will be £510 including VAT for a group of 12.

I'm proposing the following make up but open to consensus on changing spec.

Last: 365
- Width: E
- Material: Rough Out Suede
- Colour: Brown
- Welt: Stormwelt or Notch Welt
- Sole Unit: Ridgeway or Commando
- Midsole: Leather
- Edge Colour: Brown
- Eyelets: 5 brass speed hooks + 4 exposed brass eyelets
- Price (incl. VAT): £510
- Price (ex. VAT): £425

So far we have interest from:

I know it's unpopular, but I'd be in for double leather outsoles.

My preference is for a rugged sole but happy to go with leather if that's the consensus. If the majority want some form of rubber sole would you be still be interested?
No, I'm afraid not. I would like double leather but please don't let me detract from your dream boot.

Please @ me if enough people want leather and I will be happy to join the GMTO.

Okay all heard back from the factory about a potential make up. Had some interest over on the main thread about a black shell Coniston boot. Same price for 6 or 12 if we complete the GMTO this year, so here it goes.

- Style: Coniston
- Last: 378 or 325
- Width: E
- Material: Shell Cordovan
- Colour: Black
- Welt: Stormwelt or Flat welt
- Sole Unit: Double Leather or Ridgeway
- Midsole: Leather
- Edge Colour: Black
- Eyelets: 4 + 4
- Price (incl. VAT): £975
- Price (ex. VAT): £812.5

So far we have interest from:
@Gustaf
@mxgreen
@flax

Which means we'd only need 2 more to get this going.

378 is supposed to have a wider toe box than 325, but have a more sculpted heel. If it's anything like the difference between 314 and 376, it's quite an improvement in the last.
