Would rather have them on double leather, but these will do.

For a minute I thought yours were on double leather and part of the most recent GMTO. I, too, have them on dainite and have considered getting them resoled.

I think you and I were on the same one. And if I recall correctly, we were of the few in that group that wanted double leather as well.
C’est la vie, I still love them.

Yup! I still don’t fully understand the group decision to put them on Dainite. A light colored shell heavily brogued wingtip boot doesn’t scream casual to me, despite the forum’s often insistence that shell is basically only a half step away in formality from sneakers, or that wingtips/brogues are traditionally for stomping around in swamps.

Lindricks should be double leather for sure!

I recall a dark brown Dundee with buff/natural edge done a few years ago that looked great. If memory serves me right, the welt/edge color was a “mistake”, but it looked fantastic.

These dogs get a lot of wear. Lindrick’s are on last 325 and I find them more curved lasted than my Alden Barrie more straight lasted boots. These are a better fit for my thinner feet. We are all different and that’s what makes it work.
