can anyone comment on the fit of this last? does an E width fit mostly like a US D, or wider, or narrower?

elegant? or clunkier?

I am an 8.5E in AE Park Avenue but generally prefer a 9D in lots of other shoes.

would an 8.5E in the 224 work for me?

(I know, impossible to say without trying it on, etc)

bonus question: does Brooks Brothers carry any shoes in this last? I could go try some on this weekend....though I think BB resizes these so I'm not sure that would help with UK sizing...
