I'm wanting to buy a pair of suede chukka boots and I'm trying to decide between Crocket and jones chiltern boot or Church's Ryder iii. From the pics I've seen online they look almost exactly the same. Does anyone know the difference??? Or have any advice as to which is more stylish etc.... Please help. Thank you

I have both the Church Ryder III and Tricker's Aldo Chukka boots, and with the exception of the fact the Church boots have two rows for lacing, and the Tricker's have three, I cannot tell the two apart. Both are chocolate brown suede, and both have Dainite soles. You can find the Tricker's version of the boot at www.sierratradingpost.com for considerably less than the Ryder III. I purchase from Sierra Trading Post frequently and purchased a second pair of the Tricker's chukka, and received an extra 20% off their already great price. While Tricker's no longer offers the boot, when the soles are worn you can return them to the maker for re-soling. Tricker's and Church are legendary English shoe makers and you can't go wrong with either. Cheers!
