Ditto. He even threw in some black shoecreme as a bonus.

He wrote me today saying he sent replacements for the broken jars. Nice email.

I suspect he might have learnt a lesson or two about international packaging from this. Thankfully he had the customer service part down.

He also mentioned he was restocked on most everything.

My Saphir Médaille D'or Pate de Luxe arrived yesterday, shipping took approx. 20 days from UK to Vietnam. I placed an order for two Blacks and one Neutral, all in 50ml tins by default. The black tins were fine, contents got messed up a bit but still there, while the neutral came in a dented 100ml tin, 3/4 full, and liquidized (no longer solid as the blacks), but still got the job done. Should I alert the seller and secretly hope for a replacement or should I just suck it up, which is not that bad?

Is it just me or Saphir Médaille D'or Pate de Luxe really does smell like pine - me likey - (Beauté du Cuir didn't)?
>>> Nevermind. Got the answer here.

Odd, that the chest sounds like it'd fit a 44, plus the sleeves are too long and can't be fixed (obviously) otherwise I might do it.

He said the jacket was altered... and why wouldn't you be able to make the sleeves shorter? Of course you can.

edit - thats SF member eddievddr10, PM him.

Very rare you see a dyed vicuna coat - I didn't think the Vicuna wool took colour very well.

I know, this is one of the only ones I have ever seen. Its 60 years old to boot!
