You know, they say Napoleon had “short man syndrome”. But here are two things I know: (1) he was wildly successful (until he wasn’t) and (2) plenty of other leaders/conquerors in history did what he did and yet nobody assumes they were motivated by a syndrome related to their physique.
I think V tops me in my love of Foo, and I once spent 8 minutes figuring out where Foo went to high school because he once made fun of kids who listened to punk rock.
This is for people who live in Manhattan (and certain parts of Brooklyn). What you don't realize is that photo was taken lying prone in a double bed, which is the only other piece of furniture in the apartment. The world is an unjust place. GDL posts the worst home office I've ever seen, and V poasts a beautiful love letter to Foo, and SF more generally, and gets only a fraction of the thumbs.
I mean, aren't any of you working from home this very moment, and have some idea about a home office setup? I get GDL doesn't need to know about this stuff because his knowledge of clothing is the only thing necessary for his survival (not his business, which I'm sure is a losing proposition), but I can't imagine how the rest of you guys think that setup works.
