If I normally wear a US 9 / Eu 42 in Vans, will a Us 8 / Eu 41 be okay for me in the beeswax model?

moreover, it's the women's model which is slightly narrower, I don't have that wide feet and I guess the leather will stretch out a little, won't it?

I'm sure this has already been said previously, but Nordstrom Rack has a TON of Clark's DBs on clearance for around $55, in an array of colors. Might pick up a pair tomorrow.
