ok. ive decided on getting the ronnie fieg's matte and either sand suede vs oakwood.

i'm leaning towards sand suede. but i'm worried about the "care" involved and whether the shoe will get dirty easily. can anyone share on this?

also, if i get the sand, will it fade b/c I know suede fades in general. if it does, does that mean i should get oakwood and this will fade to a lighter color??!!

I sized down one full size when I tried it on in the store. I like it snug.

Has anyone else dyed their suede Clarks? So far, I've only seen a red pair that someone did. The sand colored ones I have are just too light for my tastes. Thinking about using this http://www.peasandcorn.com/shoeandle...e/dyesprep.asp in grey.

1-2 year old sand suede db's with sno seal ... they were really beat up but with a fresh coat of snoseal to winterproof them, look pretty good
