so uhm...how long until these bad boys stretch out or soften up a bit? Bought a pair on friday using the 20% coupon...came up to $75 bucks. I wear an 8 normally and the 7.5 was too small, the 8 is just right but a tad tight width wise...i figure it will stretch though. The length on em are perfect though. I wore these the past two days and its pinching 2nd knuckle under my big toe.

Is there anything I can do to quickly soften these bad boys up?

Ive already rubbed em in two coatings of mink oil and used a show tree with a sock on to try and stretch it a bit.

Man, I hate new shoes lol

Are they of lesser quality than the crepe-soled DBs? I'm assuming these rubber soles don't slide in the rain like crepe soles.

I actually just dealt with both the Bushacres and DB's in Beeswax side by side. At first I thought the sole would be the only difference, but that's actually not the case. The leather on the DB was darker and felt like higher quality, and the stitching seemed better. Also, the construction on the Bushacres weren't as good (it was brand new yet the part where the sole meets the shoe was already peeling, not sure if I'm explaining it well,) maybe it was just a defective one IDK. The rubber soles are nice though if you're going to use them in the rain.

I've had a pair of bushacre for a little more than a week now, the leather has darkened quite a bit (no products used). I dont know what the regular beeswax are like but the construction seems fine on my pair. The rubber sole is not as comfy as crepe soles but i got it to use as a beater shoe for the winter (when its not too cold of course)

That's much cheaper than in UK, it costs twice as much here...
