Apparently, the Prada run Church's shoe company has got the hint. No one wants their lesser quality shoes. Too many complaints. Prada has made the decision to give more control to Churches in regards to leather selection. Apparently, Churches are now producing better shoes to what they were producing pre Prada. l thought this might be of interest to shoe geeks and Mr Pollock. Gee, l haven't heard from my old m8 Mr Pollock for ages. l miss his presense. Regards one and all: your friendly neighbourhood shooman.[

Will prices increase?
Will old and new Church's shoes be mixed for a while in stores (which would require extra care)?
Will the new shoes be worth buying?

They will be mixed for a while so steer clear.

Churches have always been over-priced for the quality anyway.

Prices will not increase to my knowledge.

FWIW, the Church's store in DC was selling $495 shoes for $295 last week, which I presume were the old ones.

Church's is famous for their perma-sales. Whether that was what was going on here, I can't say.

Does that mean the deal with Target is off? Â

Isn't that a sad thing, a man goes to Targ'et looking for his new pair of Church's shoes and a garden hose to only find out the deal fell through.

I was at the 5th Ave Saks a week or so ago and the Churchs they had on hand were hideous, looked like planks of wood tied to my feet. The Greens on the other hand..
