That's for hyperglycemics and diabetics and likely won't do a thing. It's a supplement for morons to buy because it doesn't require a prescription a la real insulin-sensitivity boosters like metformin. By the way kids, messing with the endrocrine system isn't cool.

Are they morons b/c it's a waste of money, or because it is harmful?

Originally I had written 'morons like you', but removed the appositive out of kindness. In retrospect, I could've saved time by accommodating that fleeting feeling of prescient propriety.

I've spent enough time in gyms to hear a lot of strange science. Chromium deficiency can purpotedly cause insulin resistance, but pretty much everyone gets enough. Most people who are deficient in chromium have much more pressing issues like severe dehydration and imprisonment in a forced labor camp.

I don't know what chromium glycinate is specifically, but based on scientific nomenclature and supplement marketing observations I'm guessing it's chromium bound to glycine which is sold as a 'NOW MORE EFFECTIVE!' version of the usual chromium picolinate found in multivitamins.
