Cheapest source for NATO bands?

If the guy on ebay is selling maratac (and not some generic band), go for it.

If not, just go with broadarrow. I have the "bond" strap and it is quite nice--although with j-crew selling the $150 timex...it is getting more and more common (although it is nice to know that I didn't pay $150 for a timex on a crappy band)

yea it's dissapointing. it seems everytime i like a brand/concept a year later j crew picks up and the price skyrockets - quoddy, NATO bands, seavees, etc

Well, in this case, you can still pick up a similar style timex at target for $20 on a good day and grab a far higher quality nato band for another $20 and save yourself $110 in jcrew markups

If you have spring-loaded pins all you need is a tiny flathead screwdriver. If you have those split-pins then, yeah, you need the special tool i think. Once you have a NATO strap on you can switch from NATO to NATO without pulling the pins though.
