Brown shoes/Grey suit..its time

thats a bit too casual for a suit, IMO. "Proper" would be a bal, rather than a blucher, and w/o the split toe.

^^^ +1, especially the split-toe part. Also, those are listed as cordovan and not brown (not that there's anything wrong with cordovan with a gray suit).

Just to provide clarification, shoes made of cordovan leather (horsehide from the rump) are praised highly on this forum and elsewhere. There is also the color cordovan which has nothing to do with the material.
