Brooks Regent suits--All/Most Zegna??

Hello Gentlemen:

At my local BB in Nashville I tryed on a Beautiful Regent suit Made in Italy by Zegna.
It was absolutely gorgeous!

Are most Regents made in Italy made by Zegna now? I wish they were, as they were alot nicer than the GF--which is surpizing I know considering the GF material "Should" be higher quality.
The "Drape" and Cut on this Zegna Regent was mouth-watering...

If the suit you tried on was a Regent and was definitely made by Zegna, then it was surely the Golden Fleece Regent, which represents only a small portion of the Regent cut. Most suits utilizing the Regent cut are 1818 quality.

There have been rumors on these forums for months that BB was using a manufactuer other than Martin Greenfield for these newly available Regent-cut Golden Fleece suits; it looks like Zegna may indeed be the firm.

I have a Regent Golden Fleece, and it's by Caruso. I have never seen one by Zegna before. It's possible, but I'd still bet it was a Caruso you were looking at. It's indeed a very nice suit.

I neglected to look at the price tag--Which if GF Regent had to be @$2,400.00 !!

So the Puzzle is solved! And Yes it "Should" be Gorgeous for $2,400.00 !!

No, It was definetly Made by Zegna cause I was like

then I looked and it was Made by Zegna, It was a Flannel as well, which is Perfect for cold Nashville winters...

Louche is right though: It's a $2,400.00 GF Regent made in Italy by Zegna.
