Brooks Brothers Red Fleece Cafe

I happened today upon Brooks Brothers's iconic headquarters at 346 Madison Avenue, and I was shocked to see that it has converted almost one quarter of its main floor to a cafe, "The Red Fleece Cafe".

It looks like a lunchroom with upholstered captain chairs which are incongruous in a cafe setting. If one wanted to get a coffee and cake, there is a real restaurant across the street.

Why? Is there more money in selling coffee and muffins?

Its all kay now. Cause sum of us want maybe a mufin with a shirt. mufin wit the booberies and yams, theys good in the tumm tum. can also buy a ninja machialatta with the cuff inks. good suit god mufin goooood damn good messiah shoes...

Ralph Lauren turned a chunk of their womenswear store on Madison into a cafe. I wouldn't be surprised if there's more money in selling coffee and cake than clothes.

Jeez. Turning in my grave and I'm not even dead yet. It's because many millenials can't think without a latte' in one hand and wi-fi connected device in the other.
