Hey everyone, wondering what you all think about bronze watch cases. I picked up one yesterday without really realizing it -- just thought it looked very nice and unique with a brown/burnt orange wristband. Turns out there isnt much discussion out there about them and they are almost entirely absent from the usual conversations regarding cases/bands (various golds, silvers, titanium, etc).

Wrist Watch Review has been following a few models that have come out this year:

Anyone rock a natural bronze/brass case with their watch?

Real bronze is a beautiful thing.

But you will rarely see real bronze, or it's cousin brass, used for wristwatches as it is quite likely to turn your skin green from the chemical reaction between it and your skin.

I guess if it's designed such that the bronze or brass doesn't touch your skin it could work. Again, bronze is a beautiful material - it's a bit like good leather in that it gets better looking with time and a little care.
